Walldogs Turn Beaver Dam's History Into Public Art
(Beaver Dam) The paint is dry, the scaffolding is coming down, and the hundreds of artists who transformed Beaver Dam over the past week have begun making their way home. After five years of planning at the local level, the “Decorate the Dam” Walldogs Mural Festival successfully wrapped up yesterday. In less than one week, 15 new murals were painted throughout downtown and beyond. Professional painters and skilled artists from around the world descended on Beaver Dam, this year’s host community for the annual festival, creating larger-than-life images that celebrate the city’s history.
